Well, I did work out on Wednesday. I went to the gym with Crystal again. I actually was able to do 30 minutes on Eli (and went quite a bit further an ever before) plus some weights. I'm still working on my calves (only 2 days a week), so that took up a lot of the time.
The gym owner gave me a couple of exercises to do. One is to stand on this 1/2 balance ball thing and do squats. I can barely balance to do a squat on flat ground, so it's pretty funny to see me try and do this. Even with a counter to put my hands on for some stabilization, it's still pretty funny. I think Crystal probably get a good laugh.
On Thursday, Crystal & I went to workout in the evening. I did 10 minutes on Eli to warm up, then tried to run. I did a little less than 1/2 mile and my ankles started hurting, so I stopped. Then I did this really cool treadmill program that put me from a -3 incline to a +20. Just for kicks I put the setting up to +40 (the highest it would go), I thought for sure I was going to slide right off. It was definitely a good workout though. After that, I did abs and then a short cool-down bike. It was a good workout.
Today (Friday) we went in the AM again. This time I biked for 30 minutes then did my normal arm weights & calf exercises. We were both pretty tired from going last night and this AM. We're hoping to do MWF AM's and then T/TH PM's. Hopefully our bodies will eventually adjust to it so we can keep it up. I know I need it. I'm so tired of gaining weight! Too bad I'm not so tired of it that I would stop eating so much junk. Oh well. Maybe that low will eventually come. :)
