Well, I haven't posted, because I don't have anything to post. I wasn't able to make it to my Podiatrist appointment last week (due to some car key issues), but I am going tomorrow. My foot is still swollen and still hurts. I have found the I can use Elli with relatively little pain...that was actually a pleasant surprise. I've been so bored on the stationary bike! Plus I don't work as hard as I should on it, so I wasn't burning very many calories.
I've started keeping a food journal. I do really good for a couple of days, and then not so good again. At least I'm making the effort...right?
Dad, you're doing awesome. Are things finally slowing down so you can find time to workout? It sounds like they are....

Hey there...keep at it. Even the elli will keep you going and burning calories. Its not slower here, but I am making time to do something. I worked out Saturday in the motel work out room on a treadmill...I knowwwwwwww that I shouldn't, but I did...and then a stationary bike. Yesterday, I went for a 3 mile run. The weather here helps a lot...I can go out and run any day. And bike in Jan. and Feb. a few times.
ReplyDeleteSo, last week...I think I ran 3 days for about 3 miles each time, then the Sat. and Sun. workout. So I am keeping up with that sorta. I with I were at 5 miles, but 3 seems to be keeping me stable. I run all day from meeting to meeting and place to place at work, so it helps. How is your leg?
Still sucks here. Today I did get to blade about 4 miles. That was nice. As long as I concentrated on not pushing off with my toes it didn't hurt that bad. It was an awesome workout.
ReplyDeleteSince Alex is now sick, AGAIN, we are not able to go to CDA for swimming. I'm hoping for soon, though!
I haven't run all week again. But I will this weekend both days. Its been chilly and rainy today, but tomorrow back over 50. I feel the need!
