Ready!

After an amazing cruise with my amazing husband, I've gained another 10 pounds. It was so worth it! The food was amazing.

The first weekend I was back, I went to a "Time Out for Women" conference. It was on hope. They asked us to create our own Hope list. On my list, I wrote that I hope for self-control. Then someone gave a talk on taking control of the things we Can control, and letting go of the things we CAN'T. That is my goal. I'm going to take back control of myself, and do what I need to do to be healthy.

Monday (tomorrow) I'm committing to do the "Slim in Six" program. No excuses...it's not going to be a question on whether or not I am going to do the workouts that day, just a matter of when I'm going to do them. I'm also starting WW again.

So, for the next 6 weeks, I can do it! If I can go without sweets for a month, I can commit to 6 weeks of a healthy lifestyle for myself.

  1. I'm so impressed. That's a great idea. I'm going to do a 6 weeks commitment as well!! Glad you had fun on your cruise, I LOVED looking at your pictures.
