Well, day one for the diet went pretty well. The only thing that I'm not sure I can handle are the green (veggie) shakes. NASTY!!!! I will keep trying, but so far, those probably won't be included for long.
Day two went pretty well. My schedule was pretty busy today, so I didn't eat all the meals I was supposed to (6) but I didn't eat anything out of the diet plan, so I was pretty happy with myself.
As for working out, yesterday AM my workout partner called me and she was super sick. She has the key to the gym, so I couldn't go. I didn't go back to bed (yeah for me!). I went downstairs and did a "Slim in 6" video. Wow. Last night while at my scuba class, my legs started to hurt. This morning when I woke up, I was in pain! My thighs and rump hurt so bad! "Slim in 6" is mostly an hour of squats, lunges and abs. I guess my legs aren't in the shape I thought they were. I'm still in pain.
Today I didn't make it to work out. (I know bad, bad me.) But I did manage to get Crystal's key to the gym, so if she can't go tomorrow AM, I can still go. I just hope I can roll out of bed and then manage to stand up. Who knows. I'm hoping the muscle tightness will be somewhat relieved by tomorrow. If it is worse, I really don't think I'll make it off the floor without some help. Wish me luck!

You are an awesome person! I'm impressed by all of this working out. It will pay off...already does. You just don't know it sometime when in pain. Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteI know the veggie shake takes some getting used to, but tinker with the amounts. Add more fruit, different fruit, leave out the kale, add more spinach etc. Don't give up yet, you need those veggies and none of us get enough of them! It will take a lot of planning and some time to get used to the 6 meals a day, but give it some time. You're doing GREAT!!!
ReplyDeleteI had my veggies last night. Homemade salsa.
