Well, I got them today. I'm disappointed to find out that I have to break them in over the next month. They certainly aren't comfortable right now. The nurse described it as having a "D" battery in your shoe. That is exactly how it feels! Today was 1 hour of wear, and tomorrow is 2 hours, so forth. Hopefully in a few weeks, I'll be able to start running with them.
I REALLY need to make it to the pool and swim. So far, tomorrow I have to make sugar cookies for Brenton's school party, make chocolate chip cookies for our neighbors, make bread for Kale's work Christmas Party, and what else... oh yeah, pay bills, balance the checkbook, finish the accounting I have at home to do and mail off the remaining Christmas gifts. I don't think I'll be able to fit a swim in there.

Ever heard of Wal Mart?
ReplyDeleteI bought a new pair of shoes last evening. Scott got a pair of shoes to go to the gym with, so I went along and found a good pair of Saucony cushion running shoes for $49. I don't remember the brand name...MX something or other I think. 4E wide...so they feel great with thick winter socks on my feet. And I ran around the store in them and wowser...deep cushioning. I love the feel of a new running shoe.
This is the shoe I got for $49.
